The mullet are everywhere and it's a full moon weekend so night fishing will be best, and watch those tides and wind directions they could be higher than normal and the inlet could show its fist…
Reports:
Inshore - The mullet run is wide open north of the North Bridge by the Cottages. Bait schools are exploading and the fish are very active. Tarpon, Trout, Redfish, and Snook were all caught this week using live finger mullet. The largest snook are being caught in the inlet fishing on the bottom with live bait on a 4-5 ft leader on a 3 ring swivel.
Offshore - Kingfish are doing well in 40-75 ft slow trolling, catches have been running in the 30 pound range. Snapper have been plentiful from 80-120ft with plenty of bonito mixed in.
