The weather has been awesome at the cottages and the fish are excited to be in Florida for the winter. The winds have been kind as of late and the offshore fishing has been very good.
Reports:
Inshore - Trout are being caught under the cork with shrimp by Kings Isle and north of Harbor Branch on outgoing tides. Mangroves are feeding on the channel edges at tide change north of North Bridge. The turning basin has produced Grouper and Sea Bass on incoming tides, with Sheepshead keeping everyone busy who has a quick wrist- remember set the hook before they bite…
Offshore - Snapper, Triggerfish and Black Sea Bass have been very active with good catches in the 75-100 ft range. A few dolphin and kingfish have been caught in the same depth, Marlin caught 2 sails Wednesday close to the Lorance Tower
