The weather has been great, traffic on US 1 is…,the restaurants are full, the fish are biting so it must be mid season in Ft Pierce…I cant remember when we have had so little wind and rain this time of year, visibility has been great and the tides have been friendly, if your coolers aint full you must not be in town.
Reports:
Inshore - The jetty has been doing well with flounder and snook, if you've got live pinfish tie on a chicken rig and you wont have to take the 3 mile ride out to bag a keeper grouper - verify the type first…Sheepshead have been keeping the coolers full after scraping the piles and fishing with clam strips
Offshore - Kingfish at 55-70 ft fishing nice and slow, when they hit bring em in fast the sharks are watching. The 70-85 ft bottom bite is great for all species of snapper. The triggers are making a fair showing - remember where you catch the bait is where the fish are.
