Well here we go again, its Memorial Day Weekend and for those of us who spend a lot of time on the water we will see a lot of boats we don't normally see. Please be careful, watch out for the other guy and be patient if you use the public ramps, let's all remember the reason for the holiday and give thanks for the freedom and all that entails.
Boating Forcast : seas 2-3 ft Saturday / 1-2 Sunday with winds 10-15 knots
Reports:
Inshore - The Gator Trout are still hitting live bait from North Bridge past harbor branch, Big Redfish are taking live bait from Dave's Bait free lined around the mangroves and mangrove snapper are along the channel edges close to Kings Isle
Offshore - 2 of our regulars caught some nice 20-35 pound dolphin in 110ft of water north of the inlet and while coming back in they were trolling north of the Navy Seal Museum in 60ft and caught 3 nice smokers, all on live bait. We got a call from little Jim's saying the bottom bite in 130ft was hot with snapper.
