Well this week has been great, the weather in the 70's and a easterly wind has meant fishing the east side of the lagoon but at least we have an east side…We have some rain showers moving thru but they will be intermittent, the fall fish are moving in and the temps are great
Boating Forecast : seas 7-9 ft winds east 15 to 20
Reports:
Inshore - Snook have been hitting on the incoming tide around the inlet, the jacks- sand perch-blues and drum have all been biting well, with the redfish hitting well around the mangroves on pinfish and shrimp
Offshore - the red snapper bite has been hot around the reefs out of the inlet in 100 ft depths, large lane and mangrove snapper and a few triggerfish so a good variety and the bait has been steady , we had luck north of the inlet and at 12a, the conditions this weekend will hold us close to the lagoon.
