It has been a flat week in the lagoon and perfect for everyone without a sailboat, the weather in the 70's and showing the reason we live in paradise. On a more somber note:
We wish to send our thoughts and prayers to a fellow fisherman who lost his life on the Big O he was Nic Kayler 38 an Army Vet who leaves behind a wife and a daughter, Nic was fishing in a FLW tourneyment. Be safe out there and watch out for each other…

Inshore - The story this year is triple tail, we have seen more caught in the last 4 weeks than we can remember, on the north end of the lagoon from riverside marina to harbor branch around the channel markers and bridges fishing a chicken rig with shrimp and small pinfish.
Offshore - Sails are showing for Pelican Yacht Club with 100 caught by Thursday noon, when asked where they were we were given exact directions out the end of the Inlet…We did find some nice Blackfin this week in the 125/145ft range in the current / watch out for the bonito.
